Urban Atelier Cowork

Designed in response to the city’s need for a collaborative office space for urban studies, Urban Atelier Cowork aims to become an open and transparent hub. The site is located right outside the city walls, which is an area mainly occupied by unregulated warehouses and factories. Due to this local character, the program is organized around two courtyards. The atelier attempts to answer the needs of a contemporary work environment. The building skin is inspired by the ancient masonry techniques used on the city walls.
