Troika Residences

Located on one of the busiest boulevards in Istanbul, Troika Residence attempts to merge three different typologies with varying requirements under the same skin. By cutting out a slice from the facade, balconies are created for housing units on the lower levels, and at the same time, the vertical programmatic division of the tower is overwritten. The base that separates the two towers from the ground works as an artificial topography to activate the western side of the base, which is isolated from the heavy traffic of the boulevard.
