The Paflagonia Library Is Opening Its Doors Soon!
30 / 10 / 2026Located in Kuzeykent, Kastamonu, Paflagonia Library is conceived as an open public landscape where nature, community, and everyday life come together. Integrated into the existing green corridor and woodland, the project creates a network of spaces for gathering, exploring, resting, and social interaction, strengthening the connection between the surrounding urban fabric and the natural landscape.
Paphlagonia Library refers to the ancient region of northern Anatolia that included present-day Kastamonu as mentioned in Homer’s Iliad, and in the past came under Persian, Hellenistic, Pontic and Roman rule in the past.
