We are happy to announce that studio work has been published in Process, the yearly book of Pratt Institute School of Architecture. The published work, “The Leisure Institute,” proposes an alternative future in which AI technologies free people from bureaucratic and repetitive tasks, opening up more time for meaningful activity. The studio combined generative techniques and AI tools to develop site-specific structures while engaging critically with contemporary social challenges.

The project takes a critical stance toward conventional architectural practice, exploring the relationship between people and their environment through structures conceived as entities rather than continuities, framing human activity as a modifying force on existing landscapes. In doing so, “The Leisure Institute” advances a deeper reading of architecture’s relationship to topography, geology and natural formation.
