When a relationship between fundamental elements is shifted, new conditions emerge; transient space is created. A solar eclipse reminds us that a perfect alignment of objects in space and time allows our life to grow, our earth to exist the way we know it.

Spaces of inhabitation are not just about walls and structures, but about light and shade, warmth and shelter, water and food, the elements most fundamental to life. Our relationship to the earth, sun and moon is at the root of all these spaces. This work explores the nature of transient spaces that are not necessarily considered Architecture; spaces created by relative relationships between different actors in space and time.

The earth is much older than us. Human history occupies a tiny fragment of the history of earth, and Architecture a tiny fragment of the history of human inhabitation. Looking deeper into the relationships between natural conditions, proposed elements, and spaces created, we hope to better understand our transient relationship with the earth.
