This project engaged the site of one of Los Angeles’ most noteworthy buildings, the Schindler House on Kings Road in West Hollywood. Originally designed in 1922, Rudolph Schindler’s classic California modernist work took great advantage of the sublime horizontality of the contemporary urban fabric.
